This field-based series will take place across the seasons with spring, summer, fall, and winter walks at Wissahickon Trails' preserves.
During this 3-mile hike, participants will explore some unmarked and undeveloped trail paths that connect The Highlands to Willow Lake Farm. Join us in enjoying these beautiful open spaces we are fortunate to have and look for wildlife along the way.
Come enjoy the upper section of the Green Ribbon Trail on this 5 mile hike. This loop hike will begin and end at the historic Evans-Mumbower Mill, traveling through Natural Lands Gwynedd Preserve to the traihead of the GRT at Parkside Place and back to the mill.

The Biennial Wissahickon Photo Contest 2022 is presented by Friends of the Wissahickon, Wissahickon Trails, and Woodmere Art Museum. The photo contest kicks off March 20 – the first day of spring and the deadline for submission is October 14. Winners will be announced October 28.
Join us for a family friendly bird walk at Willow Lake Farm. All skill levels are welcome. Willow Lake Farm's diversity of habitats is reflected in a diverse number of bird species that either migrate through or breed on the preserve.
This is a unique hike for the serious hiker: an amazing loop-hike connecting various preserved lands and taking you from the creek through woods, fields and farm land. We will go through the Camp Woods, Armentrout Preserve, Briar Hill Preserve, Prophecy Creek Park, Willow Lake Farm, and the Green Ribbon Trail.
Join members of the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers for a fun filled night of star gazing! Saturn and Jupiter will be visible as well as the moon and several other interesting celestial objects.
