Help us document the biodiversity at Briar Hill Preserve using iNaturalist. City Nature Challenge is a global celebration of biodiversity in and around urban areas. Over 1.9 million observations and over 50,000 species were identified by 73,000 participants in 2023.
We will work to document as many trees, plants, animals and insects we can find at Briar Hill!
Please note:
- Participants should bring an electronic device with iNaturalist downloaded and a free account already set-up or a camera
- Dress for the weather
- Be prepared for muddy and wet trails
- For those unfamiliar with iNaturalist, see this video on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/VjlWTDR_tSA
We are happy to offer our programs at no cost to participants, but if you are able, a $10 suggested donation would be greatly appreciated.
