**Update 4/27/23: Due to rain, this event has been cancelled.**

Help us document the biodiversity at Briar Hill Preserve using iNaturalist. City Nature Challenge is a global celebration of biodiversity in and around urban areas. Over 850,000 observations and 32,000+ species were identified by 41,000 participants in 2022.

We will work to document as many trees, plants, animals and insects we can find at Briar Hill!

Please note:

  • Participants should bring an electronic device with iNaturalist downloaded or a camera
  • Dress for the weather
  • Be prepared for muddy and wet trails
  • For those unfamiliar with iNaturalist, see this video on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/VjlWTDR_tSA

We are happy to offer our programs at no cost to participants, but if you are able, a $10 suggested donation would be greatly appreciated. Wissahickon Trails is a local, community-supported nonprofit. Our budget depends entirely on the generosity of our supporters—individuals, foundations, and corporations.  Donate online today.
