Every winter, salt is used on our roads, sidewalks, and driveways to ensure our safety, but all of this salt runs into our waterways, negatively impacting stream health! Join us to learn about Salt Watch, a program in which anyone can easily test any stream or waterway over the winter to monitor salt levels in the stream and be a part of gathering ongoing information about the state of our watersheds and how they are impacted by human activity. The Izaak Walton League of America, who organizes Salt Watch nationwide, will be joining us. Learn how to participate in Salt Watch and why it's important to our waterways!

Register online to receive the link for this free, virtual program. The training will be from 6:30pm to 8pm.
