This field-based series will take place across the seasons with spring, summer, fall, and winter walks at Wissahickon Trails' preserves. Guest leader and Herbalist, Alison Rohde, will share identification tips and information about the edible and medicinal plants of our region, as well as ways they can be used and enjoyed. Walks will be slow-paced with plenty of time to stop and appreciate the incredible array of plants within Wissahickon watershed.
Walk locations throughout the year:
Spring - Four Mills Nature Reserve
Summer - Crossways Preserve
Fall & Winter - Willow Lake Farm
