Nature Program

** Update 6/16/23: This program is full. Online registration is now closed.**

Join us for a plant identification walk with Herbalist and forager, Alison Rohde, to learn identification tips and information about the edible and medicinal plants of our region, as well as ways they can be used and enjoyed. Walks will be slow-paced with plenty of time to stop and appreciate the incredible array of plants within Wissahickon watershed.

Terrain: Trails are flat with a mix of grassy, wooded (root exposure possible), paved, and crushed stone surfaces.

Accessibility Info:

  • No access to bathrooms
  • There is 1 bench at the entrance
  • There is 1 designated accessible parking spot
  • Distance: ~1.5 miles
  • Duration ~ 2 hours

We are happy to offer our programs at no cost to participants, but if you are able, a $10 suggested donation would be greatly appreciated.
