Mill Open House

Sunday, May 31 at 01:00 pm

Local History

Family Friendly

Everyone

Take a tour of Montgomery County's only water-powered gristmill and experience many hands-on, family-friendly demonstrations. Explore how the power of water and gravity transformed food production and helped establish the surrounding community.

We will be joined by local blacksmith John Bangor, who will be giving a 30-minute demonstration at 1:00pm. If you miss the formal demonstration, no worries! He will still be working in the blacksmith shop during the open house, and will provide a hands-on look at metalwork.

We will be offering guided tours at the following times. We hope you can plan your visit to stay for an entire 30-minute tour:

Tour Times

1:30p     |     2:00p     |     2:30p     |     3:00p     |     3:30p
