SOLD OUT - 1.5 Mile Camp Woods Expansion Hike

Starting and ending at Mason Drive in Whitpain Township, this 1.5 mile meandering hike will explore the newly acquired 10 acre property that expands Camp Woods. Participants will experience the connection between Camp Woods and the Hughes Family Preserve at Briar Hill by crossing Lewis Lane and completing a loop hike through the fields at a slow pace. Hike will be led by Harm Scherpbier (Board Member & Conservation Crew.)

Terrain: Trails are a mix of grassy, wooded, paved, and small rocky surfaces with root exposure possible, mix of flat and a little elevation in spots.

Please note:

• No access to bathrooms or benches
• Distance: 1.5 miles
• Pace: 35-40 min/mile
• Duration ~ 1 hour
