Join Jamie Stewart from Wissahickon Trails and Leigh Altadonna from Wyncote Audubon for a bird walk at Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve that will connect with Four Mills Nature Reserve and the Green Ribbon Trail. We will look for waterfowl, wading birds, shorebirds, and more. We will then hike to Four Mills Nature Reserve the Green Ribbon Trail to continue birding. We hope to see some of our early spring migrants.
There is NO advance registration required, plan to meet up at Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve at 8:00am. We expect the program to end by 11:00am.
Attendees will meet outdoors at the Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve. For GPS, input 93 Maple Street, Ambler, PA 19002. You can park along Maple Street adjacent to the Waterfowl Preserve.
We are happy to offer our programs at no cost to participants, but if you are able, a $10 suggested donation would be greatly appreciated.
