** UPDATE 10/23/23: This program is full, online registration is closed. **
This is a unique hike for the serious hiker: an amazing loop-hike connecting various preserved lands and taking you from the creek through woods, fields, and farm land. We will hike through the Camp Woods, Armentrout Preserve, Briar Hill Preserve, Prophecy Creek Park, Willow Lake Farm, and the Green Ribbon Trail. Led by Harm Scherpbier, this hike is 6 miles long and should last 2.5 to 3 hours. Due to the length of this hike, this is for experienced hikers who can keep pace with the group. Dogs are not permitted on this hike.
Terrain: Mixed grassy, wooded, paved, and small rocky surfaces with root exposure possible, mix of flat and a little elevation in spots.
Restrooms will be available at the start and end of the hike at Four Mills Barn.
No access to benches.
Distance: 6 miles, Pace: 25-30 min/mile, Duration ~ 3 hours.
