Hike

All Hikers

David Freedi

This is a unique hike for the serious hiker: an amazing loop-hike connecting various preserved lands and taking you from the creek through woods, fields, and farm land.  We will hike through the Camp Woods, Armentrout Preserve, Briar Hill Preserve, Prophecy Creek Park, Willow Lake Farm, and the Green Ribbon Trail. Led by Harm Scherpbier, this hike is 6 miles long and should last 2.5-3 hours. Due to the length of this hike, this is for experienced hikers who can keep pace with the group. Dogs are not permitted on this hike.

We are happy to offer our programs at no cost to participants, but if you are able, a $10 suggested donation would be greatly appreciated. Wissahickon Trails is a local, community-supported nonprofit. Our budget depends entirely on the generosity of our supporters—individuals, foundations, and corporations.  Donate online today.
