01/22/2020

The U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) Reconstruction Project between Swedesford Road and Morris Road (Section 65S) will begin on Monday January 27, 2020. This project includes replacing the bridge over the Wissahickon Creek. With the bridge replacement, U.S. 202 will expand to four lanes. Upon completion, hikers and horseback riders will be able to travel beneath the new bridge to access the Green Ribbon Trail.

Please note, the Green Ribbon Trail near the construction area will be closed until work is completed (see map below). Follow all trail closure signs when using the Green Ribbon Trail. This section of the Green Ribbon Trail is expected to reopen in 2024. For more information, click here for the press release from PennDOT.
