Wissahickon Trails was recently awarded a small grant through
ExtremeTerrain's Clean Trail Initiative Program to help us cover a portion of the costs of replacing a 16' bridge on the Green Ribbon Trail, between the Merck Stepping Stone Crossing and Swedesford Rd. The bridge is located in one of our most heavily-used sections of trail, and has degraded over time and been subject to several flooding events. It will be replaced by an Eagle Scout this fall in partnership with Wissahickon Trails staff, making the trail safer for all.
