This monthly hike is for those looking to improve their fitness, efficiency, and endurance while navigating paved and dirt trails. The group will do a total of 60 (intense) minutes on the trail and will start and end back in the parking lot of Prophecy Creek Park.
Hike
Starting and ending at Wissahickon Trails headquarters in Ambler, this moderately paced hike will take participants onto the Green Ribbon Trail and through all five preserves connected by the 5 Preserves, 1 Trail initiative.
Come enjoy a serene section of the Wissahickon watershed on this 3 mile hike. This loop hike will begin and end at the historic Evans-Mumbower Mill, traveling along the Green Ribbon Trail, through Natural Lands' Gwynedd Preserve, across three stream crossings, and back on the Green Ribbon Trail to the Mill.
