Every property has the opportunity to help reduce local flooding and pollution runoff and to improve local stream quality through improved stormwater management practices. Learn how to assess a residential property for opportunities to enhance stormwater management through innovative techniques! We will discuss green infrastructure options for residents like rain gardens, rain barrels, and bioswales and re-think conventional landscaping practices. This Stormwater Home Audit will mimic home audits that are given through the Stream Smart House Calls Program. Please note that the property we are touring has two bees hives, although the bees are inactive during the evening when we will be visiting.
