Serve the Preserve

Thursday, April 30 at 09:00 am

Volunteer

Alex McWhorteri

Wissahickon Trails will be hosting monthly Serve The Preserve days and we invite you to join! These volunteer stewardship days will primarily take place within Penllyn Natural Area where we will conduct a series of projects designed to:
1. Enrich the health of the plant and animal life of the preserve.
2. Improve the experience of trail users that visit.

Serve The Preserve will take place from April - October, so if this particular date does not work for you, we encourage you to join us next month! Registration is required so we know how many volunteers will be helping us each day.

Accessibility Information

Participants will need to walk a short distance along a dirt trail to the work site (less than 0.5 miles). Work may include digging, hammering, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 lbs. Exact tasks will vary depending on the project that day, we will share more specifics with those that register.

Please note that there are no restrooms available.
