Join Erika Hovland Bahij of Rose and Redwood as you use your senses to explore nature in daylight, twilight, and early nightfall. Gathering around a fire, we begin with a story, then attendees will explore the same location and path at three different times (light, twilight, and early nightfall), noticing how sight / hearing / touch / smell and taste shift, and returning to the fire after each exploration. As it gets dark, attendees will turn on headlamps or flashlights to explore the idea of light.
Accessibility Info:
During this program, we will encounter open-grate stairs and an unpaved trail that has rocks and roots. We will be walking less than 1/4 mile at a very slow pace and sitting is involved. Indoor restrooms will be available.
